My Wonderful First Day of Fall Quarter.

 Hmmm....Wonderful?

Today I started my first day of classes for the Fall quarter, woooo!!!! Except  not woooo. Then again kinda woooo...because I only have 3 classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. So woo!

Woke up at 7:30 which was actually kinda nice because I used to have to wake up at 5:30 and get to class by 8. Not to mention it takes me an hour to get to school. But now since I have class that starts at 10 I don't have to worry about waking up incredibly early anymore.

So getting to school on time was no problem today. I went to get my official schedule and stood in line for a good 10 minutes which wasn't that bad. But then they didn't give me my schedule! Instead I got this red sheet for holds. Which are basically stuff I have to go take care of before they can give me my schedule such as financial stuff, missing fees, academic stuff, etc.

 I had 10 minutes to get this stuff taken care of before my first class started. Why the heck can't they tell us these things before the first day of school like through an e-mail or something. 

Although it was only 2 things on the list, those two things could take a few hours. But it was early still so maybe, just maybe, I could get this stuff done and then be only a little late to class.

 So the first thing I went to get rid of was an "Urgent" financial hold. Stood in line for about 20 minutes until they called me up. Turns out I supposedly didn't make a payment for the Fall quarter which is a bunch of lies!! After about 5 minutes they realized I had payed it and it just didn't register in the computers yet. Stupid machines, they're so useless.

So that was pretty much pointless and a waste of time and now I was 20 minutes late to class. I had one more hold to get rid of which was an Academic hold because apparently I failed a class? Also lies!!! I failed a class in 3rd quarter but I got a grade change in 4th quarter so I technically didn't fail any class. But I guess the computers didn't register the grade change. Useless I tell ya!

There was a crap load of people waiting to be seen by one person who could get this fixed. Since I "failed" the class I knew my schedule had probably changed too. I waited for about 15 minutes and then a friend told me I could go get my schedule since the hold wasn't urgent. Went downstairs to only find a line that wrapped all the way down the hall. It was probably a 30-40 minute wait in line just to get my schedule. So I decided to go back upstairs and wait for my name to be called so I could get rid of the hold anyway. I waited for about 30 minutes until I finally gave up and just went back downstairs to wait in line to get my schedule. I wasn't going to class since I was already almost an hour late and there was only 30 minutes left. Eventually I got my schedule to find out they didn't change it and I didn't even have to see my advisor for the hold. Great...

I also got a call because I missed my first class and I was supposed to call some lady about it. I did and she wasn't much help, she just gave me my teachers number and my teacher didn't even answer the phone. So whatever, I guess I'll talk to her on Wednesday.

Waited around until 2 for my next class to start which was Intro to Psychology. I was relieved to find that this class might actually be pretty interesting and I won't fall asleep like I do most of my classes. 

Right now I have an hour before my next and last class of the day. Its really cold in this room that i'm in and the only person online to bug is Jason. Haha! Go Redskins!!

Freaking school, gosh! I'm so glad I don't have school tomorrow and I can stay up late and talk to my Skype homies and then sleep in. Woot!

Dang I'm gonna miss Heroes tonight (-_-). Oh well I guess I can just watch it online. And I don't think PacSun is gonna call me back today like they said they would...I hate trying to find a job. It's like Mission Impossible for me.
