R.I.P MJ (okay back to Iran plz)

Alright so Michael Jackson died at age 50, im sure everyone knows. I was watching the story unfold on the news from when he was being taken to the hospital to the point where news channels slowly but surely confirmed his death. To be honest I didn't really like the guy...cuz he's hella weird. Don't deny it you know he's weird. Still kinda sad to see such an amazing star die so sudden. I had no idea a story like this could be so big though. News is still talking about him, MTV played a bunch of vids in tribute of him, radio stations were constantly playing Michael Jackson songs, the entire internet is talking about him and such...it's just crazy.

So i take a step back and think about what's going on.

It's one person.

Yeah sure, an amazing musician who sold over 750 million records world wide! Known all over the world as the King of Pop!

It's just crazy to me how just a couple days ago something more impacting on our world was the talk of the news. Then one person dies and it's like what's going on in Iran doesn't even matter. Like wtf...really? I mean I understand MJ's death was huge and shocked the world but it's something we can get over. But yea I get it haha..been hearing the same thing for 12 hours now, back to the other story please! I wanna know what's going on in Iran damnit! People are fighting and dying for there freedom!

I know its sad that he died and everything but cmon there's so much more important shit going on right now. Like...show this MJ stuff on TMZ or something, they're pretty good at celeb news right? I dunno I guess I'm one of those people who are more interested in stuff going on in the world today. Something that could and probably will effect our future. Something I can watch and wish there was something I could do to help but I can't. I just think the story on Iran is so much more important and all of the sudden no one seems to care.

I dunno...I'm sure this story will be over in the next few days and on to the next most interesting thing. Sometimes I feel like the news is just there for ratings and to see who can get the most accurate information the fastest....stupid media.

Edit: I also wanted to include that I have no disrespect for the guy. I think it's pretty messed up that people continue to make fun of him after he's passed. I'm not going to change my opinions about him, as a person he was weird..as a talent he was brilliant. I just think he should be given the respect anyone should be given when they've passed away. My opinion on Iran and other things being more important than his death is entirely different than the respect I have for him and that others should be giving him and not spreading rumors or cracking jokes.

8:45

Not sure why but this song has been a favorite since I discovered it about a month ago. It's a pretty sad song if you read the lyrics but at the same time I really like it. I guess I can relate in a way? Except this song is about the singers Grandmother who died. I dunno..reminds me when my grandfather died and in his last moments I wasn't even allowed to see him or talk to him or anything. To be honest when he died I wasn't too emotional, I was just kinda..eh..about the whole thing. I guess I was expecting it. But it all eventually caught up to me and every now and then I think about it and the good times we had fishing, working in the shop, chatting and just doing whatever. I guess I just don't know how to express my emotions very well haha. I'm not really the type of person that shows sadness or I guess wants to. Just thought I'd share this song with English lyrics included.

[VERSE 1]
I should've done well while she was here, I should have said it while she could hear
A morning that was no different from any other day
I could already feel the sound of the bell waking me up
It’s already too late to rewind the time
One last cry, Oh! Please god try,
Please don’t let her die on me I know it’s a lie
You said to wait and you’d give me happiness
You said to wait until I stand at the top of the summit
Please hold back a little bit, leave her in this world
God please just this once pretend you didn’t see it and close your eyes
It’s gotta be a mistake, God isn’t perfect either
God’s trying to take the most precious thing in this world

[CHORUS]
8:45, she’s going to heaven
To a tranquil world where only goodness exists
It was 8:45, she’s going to heaven
If you can hear my voice Know that I love you
8:45, she’s going to heaven
To a tranquil world where only goodness exists
It was 8:45, she’s going to heaven
If you can hear my voice Know that I love you

[VERSE 2]
I should have done well while she was here, I should have shouted it while she could hear
How much I love her
I tightly hold your hand without a response
Hoping that you can hear me if I yell loudly I shout
Please get up and open your eyes
One last cry, let me say goodbye,
Please don't let her die on me I know it’s a lie
Even if the world hates me I’m still your best
Regardless of what anyone says you don’t lay the blame upon me
Your unconditional love
Creates miracles and more miracles
After God the most perfect perfect beauty
The most beautifulist thing in the world,
the most precious thing in the universe my love

[CHORUS]
8:45, she’s going to heaven
To a tranquil world where only goodness exists
It was 8:45, she’s going to heaven
If you can hear my voice Know that I love you
8:45, she’s going to heaven
To a tranquil world where only goodness exists
It was 8:45, she’s going to heaven
If you can hear my voice Know that I love you

[VERSE 3]
Where are you going without saying a final word
Although I breathe my chest is only filled with pain
Even when I sigh only pain is left
In this empty world you don’t see me
But I try to smile, seeing myself so sad
Because she might be sad too
I promise I’ll never forget you
Now I’ll let go of your hand

[CHORUS]
8:45, she’s going to heaven
To a tranquil world where only goodness exists
It was 8:45, she’s going to heaven
If you can hear my voice Know that I love you
8:45, she’s going to heaven
To a tranquil world where only goodness exists
It was 8:45, she’s going to heaven
If you can hear my voice Know that I love you

[OUTRO]
To heaven... To a tranquil world...
To heaven... To a tranquil world... To a tranquil world...
Now she's back up in heaven again
I know you're up in heaven

To all who have lost a loved one
If you hear my voice Know that I love you...
Know that I love you...
