Don't be fooled! >_O

Wooo!! I got not just one job..but 2! Im super psyched! But at the same time...damn..2 jobs..work allll day!! @_@

But I guess its okay since one of them ends in September.

I'm gonna be working at a baseball stadium at one of the concession stands selling food and the other job is a warehouse job, packing and shipping random items.

As long as I'm making money and somewhat enjoying it is all that matters! :D

My friend and brother also tried to get me to work for this business called Zurvita. TOTAL SCAM! I don't know what it is with people getting into these kinda marketing jobs...seriously, do some friggin research first! Here's how you can tell if a marketing job is more than likely just cheating you and stealing your money:

1. The hiring rate is %100 and you and pretty much anyone will get hired.

2. You have to pay some kinda crazy entrance fee of like $400 or you have to buy the product before you can sell it...the product usually being about $300+

3. You have to pay for meetings or some kind of monthly fee.

4. If the job sounds too good to be true...more than likely it is!

It's really not that hard to figure out if a marketing job is legit or not. I mean at first you'll be making money...well...earning back your entrance fee basically. Sometimes it could be a job where the only real chance of making money is selling the product through friends and family. Eventually you're going to run out of people to sell to and if the product is crazy expensive then no one is even gonna want to buy it! So slowly you'll start to lose sales and the company will still take money from you regardless if you make sales or not.

Zurvita is a bit different, it's known as a Pyramid Scheme. First you pay an entrance fee of $400, which is what my friend did. Then he'd try to convince me to join and make me an associate along with 2 other people. Just by doing that he'd make $100...ok so now he's at negative $300 of profit since he had to pay that $400 in the beginning. Then the 3 people he recruited have to gain 5 more members each. When everyone gets there associates he'll get a $300 bonus. Alright congratulations!...you're back at $0 and have no income..now all you have to do is hope those 15 new recruits get there 5 associates and you'll make even more money!

So that's why it's a pyramid scheme because it works as a pyramid. There is no guarantee that you'll even get friends to join and hope they stay and not back out, cuz if they back out then it'll hold you back from making that $300 bonus or anymore money.

ALSO, while you're trying to gain associates you have to pay a $20 fee each week for a website that you're supposed to maintain and stuff. So if you don't get members you still lose money. Same concept as running out of people to sell your product with. The main difference is that your money comes from the number of members you gain rather than selling the product...which I researched and the products are total crap. Not gonna get all into it cuz this blog will go on forever.

The people who started this and others at the top of the pyramid essentially don't have to do anything. As long as people are gullible enough to be convicned into such a job and the pyramid continues to "grow" the top of the pyrmaid is making BANK!

So anyway...if you're looking for a good job that you can actually maintain an income stay the hell away from marketing jobs! You'd be much better off simply working at a fast food place :D

And remember if a job sounds too good to be true and you're guaranteed hire, do your research first!

Oh and my brother and friend decided to back out of the Zurvita thing lol...unfortunatley my friend already put in his $400 :\

*Update* I actually have loads more to say on this topic but what I said was just the basic idea of everything. I seriously hate hate hate the idea of people getting tricked into these kinda things!! Especially friends! :(  ...but speaking aloud and answering questions is much easier to get my point across rather than blogging every little thing of what I think about it. Also it's not up to me if someone wants to get involved with these kinda marketing jobs, if they really want to then thats up to them. I just like to try and open peoples eyes and hope they understand what I'm trying to say before they make any final decisions..
